Firetrap

When founded in 1993 Firetrap wanted to create a brand that was edgy, unique and dynamic. Denim was always going to be the focal point of this venture and stand as the foundation incorporating bold statements and interpretations giving classic styles a moden contemporary twist.

In the UK the brand only has five actual stores, however worldwide they have over 1,500 and are based in over 30 countries including Dubai, Italy, Germany and France. With plans to roll out even more stores Firetrap are looking for total world domination with their urban brand.

As a brand Firetrap does what it can to engage their customers and consumers, including a long series of gigs giving up and coming bands the exposure they need to breakthrough.

Those of you that know Firetrap and have ever been to one of the five UK stores will remember ‘Deadly’ – a macabre gnome that was everywhere and fast became a collectors item. In 2008 a group of Deadly’s were vandalised by underground artists in a PR stunt with the fashion magazine Super Super. After being revealed at Londons fashion week the brand was shrouded by hype and publicity for breaking the fashion norm.

In 2009 Firetrap want to enhance their unique denim brand and keep teir youthful lines. The brand PR and marketing will take a backseat this year while they work on underground, maverick and grassroots projects.
